Revelation Technologies, LLC ("Revelation Hosting," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website revelationhosting.com and the associated hosting dashboard. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our game server hosting services.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register for an account or purchase a service, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Billing information (processed securely through PayPal — we do not store credit card numbers)
• Account credentials (passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing)

Service Data

When you use our hosting services, we collect:

• Game server configuration settings
• Server telemetry data (player counts, uptime, performance metrics)
• Support ticket content submitted through our help center
• FTP access logs

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

• IP address and browser type
• Pages visited and time spent on pages
• Referring website address
• Device and operating system information
• Purchase details when you complete an order — the order total, the currency, an order identifier, what you bought (the game title and the size or tier you chose), and whether the account is new
• A record that an account was created, when you register
• A hashed version of your email address when you complete an order or create an account — see the Google Ads and Google Analytics entries under Third-Party Services
• A first-party analytics identifier that links your visit to this site with your visit to our dashboard

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain your game server hosting services
• Process transactions and send billing-related communications
• Respond to support requests and provide customer service
• Send service-related notices (maintenance windows, outages, feature updates)
• Monitor and improve the performance and security of our infrastructure
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our services

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

• PayPal — Payment processing. Subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy.
• Google reCAPTCHA — Bot and abuse prevention. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Freshdesk — Customer support ticketing. Subject to Freshworks' Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Azure — Blob storage for server backups and game files.
• Application Insights — Application performance monitoring and error tracking.
• Google Analytics — Website analytics. Records the pages you visit, the site that referred you, your device and browser, and your location to city level, against a first-party identifier that also links your visit here to your visit to our dashboard. When you complete an order it also records what you bought — the game title and the size or tier, its price and the quantity — together with the order total, the currency and an order identifier. When you register it records that an account was created. Your email address is included with those two events in the hashed form described under Google Ads below. Our Google Analytics property permits this data to be used for advertising personalisation and for building advertising audiences, and Google may associate it with a signed-in Google account where that account holder’s own Google settings allow it. Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Ads — Advertising conversion measurement and advertising audiences. A conversion is reported in two situations: when you complete a purchase, and when you create an account. Each one carries the order total, the currency, an order identifier and whether the account is new; a purchase also carries what you bought. Each one additionally carries your email address in hashed form: Google’s tag applies an irreversible one-way hash (SHA-256) to it inside your browser, and only that hash is transmitted, so Google receives a matching key rather than a readable address. Google uses it to match your order to an advertisement you clicked. We do not send your name or your payment details. Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. The analytics and advertising services listed above receive usage and conversion data as described in this policy, and receive your email address in the hashed form described above when you complete an order or create an account. They do not receive your name or your payment details.

The advertising controls for Google’s services are operated by Google, not by us. You can review or turn off how Google personalises advertising to you in Google’s My Ad Center, and you can stop Google Analytics measuring your visits with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Legal Process and Safety

We may disclose your information where we are required to do so by law, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a subpoena, court order, warrant, or other lawful request from a law enforcement agency or government authority. We may also disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or act on suspected fraud or abuse of our services, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Revelation Hosting, our customers, or the public. A disclosure made on one of these grounds is not a sale, rental, or trade of your information, and is not made for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Game server data (world saves, configurations, backups) is retained while your service is active. Deleting a service from the dashboard is immediate and irreversible: the server and its data are destroyed as part of that operation, your subscription is cancelled with it, and there is no grace period in which anything can be recovered. Deleting a game server deletes its backups with it; backup archives belonging to a Dedicated Server are not removed automatically — ask support if you need them destroyed. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.

There is one exception to that. Where a law, a court order, or a regulatory or legal process requires us to preserve data, we keep the affected data for as long as that obligation lasts, even after the service it belonged to has been deleted. Data kept for that reason is stored separately, is not used to run your service or for any other purpose, and is released once the obligation ends.

Erasure on request applies to our live systems. Encrypted database backups, application logs, and monitoring telemetry are kept on fixed retention schedules and expire on those schedules rather than being edited in place, so copies of your data can persist in them after your account is erased, until those schedules run out.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all web traffic
• Hashed and salted password storage
• Network-level DDoS protection
• Restricted access to customer data on a need-to-know basis

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for session management, authentication, to remember your preferences, and for analytics, advertising measurement and advertising personalisation. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies — _ga, and a property-specific cookie whose name begins _ga_ — that identify a returning browser and link your visit here to your visit to our dashboard. Google Ads sets first-party cookies: _gcl_au on every visit, and _gcl_aw when you arrive from one of our advertisements, which records which advertisement brought you to the site. Google reCAPTCHA sets cookies as part of its bot-detection functionality.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
