Before you deploy.

When should I pick Dedicated over a Game Server?
Two triggers: (1) XX-Large Game Server isn't cutting it for one server, or (2) you want to host multiple game servers under one bill. Dedicated gets you a whole machine with white-glove onboarding.
How many game servers can I run on one?
Depends entirely on the game and the workload. As a rough rule: vanilla Minecraft fits 3–4 small servers per Standard tier, ArmA 3 missions 1–2, modded Rust ~1. Heavy modpacks and AAA titles eat more headroom. White-glove onboarding will spec a tier with you against the workload you're actually planning to run, instead of guessing from a card label.
What does Basic Support look like on Dedicated?
Dedicated ships with Standard Support by default (24-hour ticket SLA, priority queue). Basic isn't a tier for Dedicated Servers — whole-machine workloads get real SLA out of the box.
What does white-glove onboarding include?
An engineer works with you directly over Discord or call to stand up your first game server, migrate saves/configs, and tune the base config. Included on every Dedicated tier.
Can I attach a Storage Account to this?
No. Storage Accounts are a standalone FTP-accessed product — they don't attach to Dedicated Servers or game servers. If you need shared modpack storage across game servers, talk to us about how you're planning to use it and we'll recommend the best fit.
Do I get a dedicated IP?
Dedicated IPv4 is available as an add-on on every Dedicated Server tier — not included by default. Contact us during onboarding to configure it.
Can I migrate existing game servers over?
Yes. If the source game server already runs on Revelation in the same region as the new Dedicated, the dashboard's Import flow does it in one click — no maintenance window, no ticket. Cross-region moves (or migrations from an external host) go through white-glove onboarding via Discord or a support ticket — bring the files, we handle the cutover and any region-specific config.
Can I move my Dedicated Server between regions later?
Region is chosen at provisioning and cannot be changed later — the VM is pinned to the physical host in that region. If you need to move, provision a new Dedicated Server in the target region and migrate your data over. White-glove onboarding covers the cutover on a scheduled maintenance window.
Is there a 10 Gbps option?
Not as a standard upgrade in the catalog, but it's a "talk to us" option — the datacenter has 10 Gbps loops we can route a Dedicated Server through if you have a real need (high-traffic streaming, cross-region replication, etc.). Heads up: it gets expensive fast. 1 Gbps handles thousands of concurrent players for normal game workloads, so most customers don't need it. Reach out via Discord or support to scope a quote.
Can I pay with crypto / wire / invoice?
Today: PayPal and major credit cards (via PayPal's gateway). Crypto, wire, and net-30 invoicing aren't supported yet — if you need one of those for a real reason (procurement, treasury, etc.), reach out and we'll figure something out.
What's your refund policy?
72-hour refund window on the first month of any Dedicated Server tier — reach out via Support or Discord within that window and we’ll process it. After that, cancel any time and we credit the unused portion back.
Do I own my data?
Yes. Cancel and we'll send you a ZIP of your data within 24 hours. Delete from dashboard and it's purged from our storage within 14 days.
Can I talk to an engineer before I buy?
Absolutely — every Dedicated sales conversation is with an engineer, not a salesperson. Hit Contact, tell us what you're planning, we'll spec it with you.
